RIDING DIFFERENT BIKES. RACING SOME
Short answer: Me, Yvanka – Female, Dutchie and a fanatic motorcycle enthusiast, both on the roads and on track. Standing 1.68 m tall. Got a thing for big bikes, preferably racy ones. Duckie Duct Tape is my mascot and got a stuffed little lemur as a lucky charm.

Long story: I’ve been riding motorcycles since 2018, but my love for the moto world started way earlier. I’ve always had a thing for everything with an engine. Cars, boats, bikes, you name it. But motorcycles always have been special to me. After getting my motorcycle license, I sold my beloved cars (big MINI fan here) and didn’t get off the bike ever since.
My first bike was a Suzuki GSXR 750 from 2005. A bright yellow one. One that leaves you no chance of riding around incognito. I’ve ridden almost 60.000 kilometers with that bike and loved every second of it. She was my daily commuter for 3 years. I got to make all the rookie mistakes with her and develop my riding technique.
In the meantime I’ve ridden many different bikes. Experiencing different machines is just so much fun! And I started to ride on track. Got hooked immediately. I feel very fortunate to share my passion for racing with my boyfriend. Who’s an absolute angel for letting me ride his Yamaha R6 from 2007 on track.
After years of saving, I was able to buy my dream bike in 2021. I got to pick her up just before Christmas. Hello my precious! She’s an aprilia RSV4 RF from 2017. Since that moment, I’ve been stuck on cloud nine. She’s an absolute gem to ride and the best eye candy one could get (in my opinion, forgive me!).
But the best thing about riding motorcycles is the shared passion with so many lovely souls. I got to meet countless of beautiful people with intriguing stories. And I hope to meet many more. Thank you, to everyone who has made this life on 2’s such a pleasure so far and thank you in advance to everyone who will add magic to it in the future.
I’ve always been a creative, arty-farty person. And I’ve loved writing from a young age. After working as a content manager, I’ve developed an interest in the online world containing content and web design. And just thought; why not combine that interest with my passion for riding motorcycles? And share my oopsies, stories, adventures and experience? Maybe it might entertain others, give them some tips and tricks and inspire them to ride more, try something different or just to get on that bike again.
